My photos are a personal record of my voyage into the heart of the places I visit, trying to capture the story and spirit of wild places and their inhabitants.  I am happiest when traveling in remote parts of the world, the more beautiful, unpredictable and mysterious the better. I strive to bear witness to the essence of the souls I meet and the land I walk on before it is changed or lost forever.

Recently, I have been fortunate to learn with some of the best in my effort to turn my photography towards photojournalism, and aim to listen to my “head, heart, gut” when choosing a story to follow. My goal is to depict my subjects in an unanticipated way, bearing in mind the use of light, color and gesture. I photograph what I experience and as a photojournalist I hope to create awareness by digging deeply and developing a relationship with the people in my photographs, capturing moments that will never be repeated.
